Richard Elphick (BSc MRICS) joined Spectrum as a Director at the start of 2011.  He has over 30 years experience in the property industry representing tenants or occupiers of mainly office property throughout the UK in connection with a wide range of landlord and tenant and occupational issues.

Since 1976 Richard has worked at Vigers, Savills and, most recently, Strutt & Parker, where he initiated the occupation property management activities of the firm.  His occupational clients in the recent past have included, inter alia, Halcrow, Ove Arup, ACE Insurance, AWD, the Cabinet Office and Levi Strauss.

With a background of rent review and lease renewal negotiation, dispute resolution and wide ranging professional experience, finding solutions to occupational property problems is Richard’s speciality. 

Outside of the office, Richard lives in Hampshire, is an elected member of the Winchester Diocesan Synod and speaks regularly as a fund raiser for local charities and in particular for the Mercy Ships.
