Pre-lettings of Jermyn Street units 3/4 & 5 to Herbie Frogg Ltd and Geo. F Trumper Ltd, respectively.
Jermyn Street is very important to The Crown Estate and is a World Class retail destination in its own right.
After the decision had been taken to proceed with the St James Gateway redevelopment, The Crown Estate expressed a strong desire to retain three of the Street’s long established retailers (who were to be made homeless), namely Bates The Hatter, Geo F Trumper and Herbie Frogg.
Spectrum were instructed to offer these three retailers the opportunity to return to the redeveloped scheme.
Following protracted negotiations, Spectrum were successful in negotiating pre-lettings of Units JS 3/4 (208 sq m/2,241 sq ft) and JS05 (138 sq m/1,490 sq ft) to Herbie Frogg Ltd and Geo F Trumper Ltd, respectively.
Bates The Hatter declined The Crown Estate’s offer to return but they have since acquired premises elsewhere in Jermyn Street.
